Geometric Art Draw Along @ MathsWorld Lates

Visit MathsWorld and join Ayliean to explore how maths, art, and culture have been woven through each other for all of human history!

This event takes place on Wednesday the 22nd of April and is the fifth of MathsWorld London's year long programme of monthly evening talks and events.

From Sona patterns, to tilings and fractals, we will visit mathematical art styles old and new and then get hands on! Even if you think you have no drawing ability come along and put the "try" in geome-try with this draw along session guided by Ayliean. All materials provided, you just bring your wonderful self and curious mind.

Visitors will have the opportunity to arrive from 18.15 to explore the ground floor of MathsWorld before entry to the upstairs talk area opens at 18:50. The talk will begin at approximately 19.00 and last approximately 1 hour, followed by some hands-on mathematical doodling led by Ayliean before we close at 21:00.
